An original Greek Salad Recipe, for those who were wondering.
If you order a Greek salad and it arrives with lettuce it is not a Greek salad. A Greek salad has several ingredients but not one of them is lettuce. It is made up primarily of tomatoes, onion, cucumber and feta. Even the olives and green pepper are optional.

Ingredients:
Red Onion | 1 | ||
Green Pepper | 2 | ||
Tomatoes | 4 | ||
Cucumber | 1 | ||
Kalamata Olives | |||
Greek Feta Cheese | |||
Dried Oregano | 1 | teaspoon | |
Olive Oil – Extra Virgin | |||
Salt |
Method:
1 . Cut the tomatoes into wedges
2 . Slice the cucumber
3 . Peel the onions, cut in half and slice
4 . Core & de-seed the peppers, the slice
5 . Mix together in a bowl
6 . Add the Kalamata olives
7 . Add the feta (blocks or crumbed)
8 . Season with salt and oregano
9 . Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil
