Basting Sauce Recipe for the Braai

A straightforward basting recipe for the braai.

So often when we eat out in restaurants our steaks have been cooked with such a delicious basting sauce that all other sauces like pepper or mushroom are made redundant.

Yet, more often than not when making a braai so many people just stick the meat on without any basting. Well baste-less braai no more, here is a simple way to sauce up your meat.

Basting Sauce Recipe for the Braai

Serving: | Prep: 5 min | Cooking: 5 min

Ingredients:
Apple Cider Vinegar 1/2
Tomato Sauce 1 cup
Wholegrain Mustard 2 tablespoons
Worcestershire Sauce 2 tablespoons
Fresh Parsley 1 tablespoon
Chopped Garlic 1 tablespoon
Chopped Ginger 1 tablespoon
Method:

1 . Chop up the herbs & garlic
2 . Briefly reduce the apple cider vineger in a pan
3 . Add everything else
4 . Pretty much done, now all that is left is to brush onto your meat.
