Written by Luxolo Tabata, the dishwasher, made it through to round two with his Fish, Prawns and Mussels on Vegetables & White Wine, Honey and Soy Sauce recipe.
On the face of it this dish really did not impress but one has to consider that this is prime time television and the producers greatest dream is that a young 18 year old dish washer from the Cape becomes South Africa’s fist MasterChef. So Luxolo survives to fight another day and we hope that he does pull through and present us all with something more deserving of his place in the MasterChef finals.
