The Johannesburg leg of the Good Food & Wine Show kicks off on Thursday. What can we expect?

The Good Food & Wine Show has visited Cape Town and Durban already this year and now, hot on the heels of “Taste of Joburg” it has arrived in Gauteng with a star studded cast, including Gordon Ramsay and his head chef at “Restaurant Gordon Ramsay”, Clare Smyth .

Also joining Gordon on the guest list is Silvena Rowe, a regular on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen. and now proud owner of  a brand new restaurant, Quince which opened in London recently. The Good Food Channels, Sophie Michell adds some glamour to the line up.

And then what would any Cooking Show be without Australian Masterchef sensations Adam Liaw and Alvin Quah.

The organisers are promising that this years show will be bigger and better than ever before with something for everyone of all ages with clelbrity chef demonstrations, wine tasting and a special new restaurant area.

@GourmetGuys will have regular features and tweets on the coming and goings at the Good Food & Wine Show, Coca Cola Dome, 22-15th September.  Tickets available at Computicket

Here are some highlights from the Cape Town event to give us all an idea as to what we can expect.
