Nando’s returns fire and ups the anti
Nando’s called Santam’s bluff and delivered the menu as ordered on Wednesday afternoon, well ahead of the Thursday 4pm deadline set by Santam.
The famous chicken brand went one step further though and promised to deliver food to the children’s home on the last Friday of every month for the rest of the year.
Nando’s marketing director Quinton Cronje said that the brand was “more than happy to oblige when publicly asked to do something good”.
“We’re also very flattered that a prominent financial institution liked our advert so much it took the time to spoof it.”
“Like some Sir said, it is all about taking care of the detail and the group is happy to oblige”.
The only question that remains now is if Santam will provide The Johannesburg Children’s Home with free insurance cover for the remainder of the year?
