Heineken unveiled a prototype of its “Heineken Ignite” at Milan Design Week along with this video to show off its disco can do attitude.
The bottle illuminates when you toast and when you sip.
The cherry on the top however is how it can be remotely synchronized with music. The base includes 8 bright LEDs, an 8-bit microprocessor, a motion detector and a wireless network transceiver.
The intent of the Heineken Ignite project was to develop an idea that would create a memorable Heineken experience unlocking the power and possibilities of mobile innovation and technology.
Heineken touts Ignite as its “first interactive beer bottle.”
No one knows yet when this will be released.
Probably never but a neat little promotional idea though.
