Mixologist Salvatore Calabrese created the world’s most expensive cocktail, the “Salvatore Legacy” at the Playboy Club, London.
He mixed together some of the worlds oldest and mist expensive spirits to create a cocktail that will set you back £5 500.
By using some of the oldest liquor in the world he claims to have also made the World’s Oldest Cocktail too, around 750 years old.
So what’s in it?
There’s 40ml of 1788 Clos de Griffier Vieux Cognac, 20ml of 1770 Kummel Liqueur, 20ml of 1860 Dubb Orange Curacao and two dashes of Angostura Bitters from the 1900s
He claims to have broken the Guinness World Records but Guinness are holding back on confirming this until they have investigated whether it is more expensive that a cocktail currently on sale in Dubai.
Don’t know about you but I find this all just a little overly dramatic.
