Rib Eye Steak Braai Recipe with Sun Dried Tomato Chimichurri & Cumin Coriander Steak Rub

Jamie Purviance, author of Weber’s Way to Grill shares one of his favourite steak braai sauces, a Sun Dried Tomato Chimichurri along with a Cumin & Coriander Steak Rub.

Chimichurri originates in Argentina, a country famous for its high quality beef. It’s traditionally made with parsley, garlic, olive oil, oregano and red or white vinegar. Other common ingredients in the green version that are sometimes used include, coriander, paprika, cumin, thyme, lemon and bay leaves.

In red versions of chimichurri tomatoes and red peppers are used as is the case in this recipe from Jamie Purviance.

This recipe will be enough for 4 healthy sized steaks.
