Penne alla Vodka Recipe

A Penne alla Vodka for all those who like their dinner to have a little spirit.

If you want to be really stupid use the worlds hottest vodka, the “Naga Chilli Vodka:)

Penne alla Vodka Recipe | Waitrose

Serving: 2 | Prep: 5 min | Cooking: 15 min

Penne 400 g
Prosciutto 2 diced
Onion 1 chopped
Tomato Puree 200 g
Double Thick Cream 2 tablespoons
Chilli Flakes a pinch
Vodka 100 ml
Salt & Pepper
Parmesan Cheese
Olive Oil

1 . Prepare the penne according to the packet instruction
2 . Heat some oil in a frying pan
3 . Saute the onions & prosciutto until soft & translucent
4 . Remove from the heat

5 . Pour in the vodka and light it up (BE CAREFUL)
6 . Return to the heat and simmer for 2 minutes
7 . Pour in the tomato puree and cream
8 . Add the chilli flakes (we suggest a pinch, go for more but be careful) and stir in well
9 . Bring to a simmer for 3 minutes
10 . Season with salt & pepper
11 . Add the pasta
12 . Grate in some Parmesan
13 . Cook for 2 more minutes
