The World’s Hottest Vodka, The Naga Chilli is not for the faint hearted.
Described as smelling like pure evil and drawn from the blood of Satan it will make your eye’s water just sniffing it. I can’t imaging this “Spirit of Hades” impacting much on Tequila turf except for the die hard “He-Men” of the south.
The Naga Chill, regarded as one of the hottest in the world, comes in at 1,000,000 on the Scoville chilli heat measuring scale. The vast majority of the chillies and peppers we use on a daily basis come no where near the heat intensity of a Naga Chilli, the closest many of us may have come, is with a Habanero chilli.
The vodka is fermented with the Naga Chillies and left for several weeks to infuse, slowly evolving into hell fire. Once the process is complete the vodka achieves a Scoville rating of 100,000 making it twice as hot as Tabasco and almost level with a straight up Habanero or Scotch Bonnet.
It’s best used for a Very Bloody Mary and not as these videos will testify, straight up.
