How McDonald’s French Fries are made. The Canadian marketing offensive continues.

McDonald’s Canada has released another video harping on about the wholesomeness of the fast food chains food and how McDonald’s French Fries are made.

This time they have recruited the assistance of a potato farmer to take the viewer on a behind the scenes tour of the potato harvest for the McDonald’s French Fries, a little insight into the sorting process and the rest of the process right into the McDonald’s kitchen.

This no doubt is designed to attempt a “Farm to Fork” feel to McDonald’s French Fries although I am don’t know anyone who has ever used a fork while eating McDonald’s.

They seem to be missing the point though, the potatoes are perfect until they are dunked in the oil to create fries and even that is okay to a limit.

The problem is the excessive consumption of there types of food that the fast food companies promote with children being a specific target in the case of McDonald’s.
