They are tasked with preparing family feasts for their semi final heat.

There is nothing better in our busy world than to sit amongst friends at a dinner feast and celebrate and share our love for each other – a few uninterrupted hours – cook together, set the table and taste the exciting, colourful, beautiful food and flavours. With no order of courses – we nibble, eat, enjoy, be happy, be content and thankful for friendships and the blessings we often forget to count. Indian cuisine and my blog is a festival of flavours, vibrancy, colours and tastes – to be shared, celebrated and savoured in this slow manner with friends. Please enjoy the food at my table.

I don’t believe a celebratory meal has to cost you an arm and a leg. Of course the food is important, but I think it’s the people that make a meal special…..that and some vino! The Pavlova is a particular favourite with my lot and no family meal is complete without the inevitable squabble between my-so-called adult kids for the last piece! Gotta love family.
