A Champagne Pomegranate Cocktail Recipe | Jamie Oliver

Jamie Oliver’s Christmas Champagne Pomegranate Cocktail Recipe is a fun, festive twist to the more traditional OJ & Sparkling ‘buck fizz…’

Nothing says “Happy Christmas” quite like a champagne cocktail … And alcohol is always a much needed requirements at family Christmas affairs … How else is anyone able to listen to mad Aunt Greba yabba on for half an hour, or more.

Freshly squeezed pomegranate juice is a bright, ruby red and is the perfect hint of sweet to a nice, dry bubbly.  If you are struggling to find fresh pomegranates in your supermarket or local fruit & veg, you can of course substitute with boxed pomegranate juice, but nothing is as good as the ‘ergte ding.’

Another wicked alternative, is to add a little Campari, together with the champers (or a good South African sparkling wine) & splash of your favourite berry juice…
