Brandon was well complemented by the judges for his Lemon Butter Hake recipe. It was, according to Judge Andrew Atkinson cooked to perfection.
Brandon revealed a significant amount about his character when he told us that he wanted to win MasterChef more than Tom wanted to eat Jerry, than the coyote wanted to eat the Roadrunner and even more bizarrely, more than Pinocchio wanted to be a boy. He then really dragged his name through the mud by admitting to being a Manchester United supporter and that he has not been so emotional since Manchester United last won the European Champions League.
This last comment brought back memories of Trainspotting and Mark “Rent-boy” Renton saying, “Phew! I haven’t felt that good since Archie Gemmill scored against Holland in 1978!”
